As mentioned before, we are switching to a new hosting site. We believe that we have found our next hosting site, so it might only be a few more days to a week before we switch over, but we aren't certain yet.

Notice from the Webmaster

In the ongoing effort to keep First Christian Church's website as up-to-date as possible with the latest technology available to us, we are currently searching for a new hosting site. We are hoping to find a new site that supports media streaming (which would allow us to post parts of the service), more pages, and more storage space for photos and possibly even videos. Keep tuning in for more updates; the website URL may change if we switch to a new hosting service.

Welcome Pastor Ed Whitman!

We welcome Pastor Ed Whitman, and his wife Sandy, to First Christian Church. Pastor Ed has agreed to be our Intentional Interim Minister and is helping us through our transition. We enjoy having them with us each Sunday, and Pastor Ed Whitman has been very helpful in the few months that he has been with us.

Farewell Duane and Ellen!

Duane and Ellen Kellogg are moving to Connecticut and they will no longer be with us. We will always keep you two in mind! We are very thankful for what they have done to help us grow, and we thank them especially for the Words on the Wall and the Women's Bible Study.

Welcome Seth Waters, our new keyboardist!

First Christian Church of Kittery Point has called Seth to the position of Interim Keyboardist. Seth, a high school student, has been very eager about his new position. He is willing to play all types of music, and is
much appreciated here at First Christian.

We are searching for musicians!

In particular Guitar, Percussion, Brass, and Bass players! If you are interested in working to form a contemporary Praise and Worship Team then please don't hesitate to call or e-mail our Board of Elders.

Mission News

First Christian Church sponsored a Mission Team trip to the Gulf Coast of Texas from November 6 to 12, 2005 and a Belize Mission trip during the summer of 2005. We have several teams doing Mission work at our local Salvation Army lunch program, too. Please e-mail our Board of Elders if you are interested in helping out on a Mission event .

Want to plug in?

First Christian Church of Kittery Point is currently running a weekly in-home Women's Bible Study session on Tuesdays from 2:00 to around 3:30 in the afternoon, a Home Church service on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 in the evening (supper is included), and an Adult Sunday School class on Sunday morning at 9:30. For more information on any of these programs you can call us at 207.439.4021 (please leave a message if there is no answer) or e-mail our Board of Elders.
